Welcome to Brian Jilg Music!

My first post on here.  Hooray!

I want to use this site as a way to publish information about what is going on with my music and videos.   It will have links to all of my sites and newest content.  I want to make this an easy place to find and remember.  It has been a long journey getting to this point.

Little did I realize back in 1992 when I bought my first keyboard would it lead to having a home studio someday.  It was fun recording back then, I had a casio keyboard that could play a rhythm part and I played along.  I played into my boom box with a cassette tape recording.  Whatever happened to those tapes?  I actually still do have some tapes I did in the 90s after I got my first professional keyboard, the Korg 01W.  That was an amazing keyboard that I bought later in 1992 and kept until 2004.

In 2004 sensing my Korg was about on it’s last legs, I decided to update my studio.  I bought Cubase 6 and a new Korg Triton Extreme keyboard.  That board is still in my studio today, it is fantastic!  Sure some of the sounds are a bit outdated, but I find ways to use them in my current music.  It is the keyboard that keeps on giving!

Thanks for stopping by and have an awesome day!

Cheers,

Brian

  1. I can’t wait to see it once you start uploading your music. Your studio looks incredible. By the way, we still have that first keyboard that you generously donated to the kids. Although no musical geniuses emerged, they tremendously enjoyed expressing themselves through music. I may want to blow the dust off and play it myself, now that you mentioned it.

    • Thank you my sweet sister! The music is here. The links are on the home page to YouTube and SoundCloud, and of course Facebook. The idea is to have a central spot where it can be found. 🙂
